Talks with Venice Commission on the Azerbaijani Electoral Code will continue in September, head of socio-political Department at President’s Office Ali Hasanov told the APA.
Mr. Hasanov said that no need to hurry as there is enough time left for elections to start. He added that Azerbaijan’s current election code is perfect and meets democratic principles and reminded that President’s Office’s official code was made with EC experts. He did not rule out some amendments to the Electoral Code as time passes.
Mr.Hasanov said that investigations on pardon decree are underway./APA/
