Israeli Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Strategic Affairs, Avigdor Lieberman will pay official visit to Azerbaijan today, APA’s Israel bureau reports.
The visit aims at developing relations between the two countries.
MP of Israeli Knesset, head of Israeli-Azerbaijani interparliamentary friendship commission Iosif Shagal will visit Baku as well.
The guests will visit the tomb of Heydar Aliyev in Honor Alley, take part in the opening ceremony of Jewish cultural center and meet Jewish community living in Guba region.
Mr. Lieberman is expected to have meetings with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister and speaker of Parliament.
During his stay in Baku till August 18, Deputy Prime Minister will meet the officials of State Committee for Azerbaijanis Living Abroad and Economic Development Ministry. /APA/
