Group plotting against head of Absheron Executive Power arrested

1kg heroin, 70gr opium, 6 counterfeit $100 notes and cartridges for Makarov pistol were confiscated in the house of 30-year old Elman Aliyev in Sumgayit and Saray settlement and 2 $100 notes from 42-year old Azizaga Mehdiyev. Mashtaga resident 35-year old Tergulu Mammadov and chief of Interior Ministry Railway Traffic police office Sumgayit police station Colonel Azad Guliyev were detained for buying 6 $100 notes from Mehdiyev. 10 $100 notes and over 100gr heroin was found in Azad Guliyevâ€™s house in the settlement of Saray.
Criminal case has been launched in National Security Ministry Head Investigation Department on articles 206.3.2, 234.4.1, 234.4.3 (smuggling, selling, transporting and keeping great deal of narcotics by an organized group), 204.1 (selling counterfeit currency notes) and 228.1 (illegal getting and keeping weapons) of the criminal code and the above-mentioned men have been arrested. Investigation shows that disputable condition occurred between 52-year old Arif Aslanov, Azerbaijani State Technical Inventory and Property Rights Registration Officeâ€™s interregional officeâ€™s chief and newly-appointed head of Absheron Executive Power Zakir Farajov. Aslanov gave orders to 56-year old Guba resident Mammadhasan Agayev on it and promised him $60 thousand and gave him $40 thousand beforehand. Agayev receiving order on conspiracy observed Farajovâ€™s route and defined the living place of Farajov and tried to gain fire-arm for using it for conspiracy. But he required extra $40 thousand for the conspiracy. But he refused to pay extra money and therefore terror act against Farajov did not take place. Accused Aslanov gave testimonies on the crimes and asserted the above-said and said he is blamed for it.
The investigation showed that Aslanov informed Guliyev about his order for conspiracy to Farajov. Agayev also bought car cost $23 thousand with the money he got for committing terror act. But Aslanov demanded his money back, as Agayev did not carry out his order about committing terror act. And Agayev returned only $4 thousand of it.
Aslanov and Agayev faced charges under the article 29.277 (attempt to kill and revenge on state figure) of the Criminal Code and were arrested. /APA/
