Non Azerbaijani deported from Russia in 2007

No Azerbaijani citizen has been deported from Russia after new migration legislation came into force, First Secretary of Azerbaijani embassy in Russia Huseyn Huseynov told Azertag State Agency, APA reports.
He said that only 67 Azerbaijanis were withdrawn from the country administratively for violating migration legislation and it is reduced by 73,6% in comparison with the same period of the last year. 5 Azerbaijanis detained in detention place # 1 of Moscow Main Interior Office for violating laws of migration legislation has been sent to Azerbaijan on the initiative of Azerbaijani ambassador Polad Bulbuloglu. Huseyn Huseynov saying that the number of those who appealed to council for receiving various documents has been reduced for two times in comparison with the past years said that Azerbaijani embassy has given 8 thousand council documents from January till now.
Federal Migration Service said that 16,854 Azerbaijanis asked permission for working in Russia last year. /APA/
