Turkey-Azerbaijan Fraternity Park was opened in Askishahar, Turkey yesterday, Azerbaijani Council General to Istanbul Sayyad Aran told the APA.
Four parks were established in Askishahar that day. Council General participated in the openings of parks. Municipality head Gurhan Sakalli, Belgium parliamentarian Jemal Chavdar, former member of Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe Murad Erjan and other senior officials participated in the opening of Turkey-Azerbaijan Fraternity Park. The member of “Ashug Pari†Assembly Ashug Shargiyya who is living in Turkey sang Azerbaijani and Turkish songs.
The diplomat said that this is the new park which represents Azerbaijan after the large cities like Istanbul, Izmir, and Bursa.
