US deputy ambassador: I hope there will be more Euroatlantic Centers in Azerbaijan

The cause of the opening of Euroatlantic Center in Ganja is that this city is the heart of Azerbaijan, US Deputy Ambassador to Azerbaijan Donald Lu visiting Ganja told journalists, APAâ€™s Western bureau reports.
He said there is a great demand in Ganja for information about NATO and world.
â€œTherefore, it was necessary to establish such center in Ganja. The youths can get information about world and NATO with the helps of computers established in this center. Such Centers exist in several countries of Europe, and I hope the number of such centers will be increased in Azerbaijan, too,â€ he said.
Mr.Lu also said that he met with the head of Ganja Executive Power Eldar Azizov and they spoke about democratic and economic issues during the meeting. He also underlined that he wanted to meet with the representatives of NGOs and parties operating in Ganja and closely get acquaint with the city. /APA/
