MPs and editors appeal to President for solving journalists’ housing problems

A group of parliamentarians and editors appealed to the president for solving housing problems of journalists, Unbiased Journalists’ Union told the APA.
The appeal says that the majority of young journalists have housing problems. Over 60 journalists established building society in 2005, tried to get place for constructing a multistory building, but the problem was not solved.
Parliamentarians and editors-in-chief underlined that there are Karabakh war veterans, handicapped persons, refugees and IDPs among the journalists.
The authors of the appeal asked the president to support the journalists having housing problems on the 132nd anniversary of National Media.
Parliamentarians Ganira Pashayeva, Eklmira Aklhundova, Lala Abbasova, Aynur Jamalgizi, Akram Aylisli, Sabir Rustemkhanli, Agil Abbas, and journalists Elchin Shikhli, Jahangir Mammadli, Gulu Maharramli, Akif Ashirli, Yunus Oguz and Aflatun Amashov signed the appeal. /APA/
