PACE President meets parliamentarians

Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly (PACE) President RenÃ© van der Linden met with the members of delegation to PACE and permanent commissions of international ties and interparliamentary relations, parliamentâ€™s press service told the APA.
Head of Azerbaijani delegation to PACE and chairman of the commission Samad Seyidov said that official Baku is interested in the development of the relations with the Council of Europe.
Highly appreciating PACE Presidentâ€™s visit to the South Caucasus and to Azerbaijan in the framework of this visit Samad Seyidov expressed his confidence that that new stage will open in the relations.
Mr. Seyidov said that almost all the problems debated during the PACE Presidentâ€™s first visit to Azerbaijan, have been solved.
RenÃ© van der Linden satisfied with the activity of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE spoke about the aim of his visit.
The visitor said that the main aim of his visit is to familiarize with the reforms carried out in Azerbaijan and their successful results. /APA/
