Allahshukur Pashazade meets PACE President

Representatives of Catholic, Orthodox and Mountain Jewsâ€™ community also participated in the meeting. Welcoming the visitor Allahshukur Pashazade underlined that Azerbaijan is a young state and 20 per cent of its territory has been occupied by Armenia.
â€œWe need our friendsâ€™ help so that the international community will recognize this truth,â€ he said.
Sheikh expressed gratitude to PACE President for supporting Azerbaijanâ€™s right position.
He said that there is no problem of tolerance between the government and religion in Azerbaijan.
â€œEqual conditions have been created for all religious confessions. We even coordinate the construction of mosques, churches and synagogues,â€ he said.
Inviting PACE President with his family to Azerbaijan next year Allahshukur Pashazade presented him Koran and carpet.
Accepting the invitation RenÃ© van der Linden expressed satisfaction with the religious tolerance in Azerbaijan. /APA/
