Gulamrza Tabrizi elected WAC chairman

80 Azerbaijanis having right of voting and nearly our 50 compatriots represented Azerbaijani side in the congress. Nearly 200 delegations of organizations functioning in various countries attended the congress. The regulations and structure of the Congress have been amended in the meeting. New Managing Board has been established and this 17-people organization initiated 3 candidates for the post of the chairman of the Congress. The vice-president of Coordinating Council of World Azerbaijanis Congress Gulamrza Tabrizi collected majority of the vote among the candidates and has been elected the chairman of WAC. The decision was made for holding WAC Congress once a year. Javad Derachti was the former chairman of WAC. /APA/
