Though draft agreement for setting up Advisory Assembly of Opposition is being prepared, the negotiating parties decided not to conclude an agreement at present stage, chairman of Azerbaijan Democratic Party Sardar Jalaloglu told the APA.
He said that practical side of the establishment of association is concerning the parties gathered in the organization.
“We are not interested in concluding agreements on paper formally. Therefore, Counsel Assembly states that measures should be taken practically and the formal side will be investigated within it. The agreement can not be concluded. A lot of agreements have been concluded, statements have been made till now, but there was nothing practical. The formal side of the issue should be regarded second-class work,” he said.
Jalaloglu said that they have not concluded the agreement project for not focusing the society at present moment.
Jalaloglu said that the organization is carrying out debate only regarding national problems at present moment.
“If necessary, issue regarding presidential elections and adoption of several decisions will be debated,” he said. /APA/
