Azeri delegation to visit US for security talks

Azerbaijan and the US will start bilateral security talks in Washington on July 9-10, spokesman for Foreign Ministry Khazar Ibrahim told the APA.
Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov will lead Azeri delegation. The delegation includes officials of Foreign Ministry, Defense Ministry, Interior Ministry, National Security Ministry, Emergences Ministry, State Customs Committee and State Border Service.
Khazar Ibrahim said that Azerbaijan-US military-political relations, cooperation in the framework of international organizations, peacekeeping operations, regional issues, and cooperation in the framework of NATO will mainly be debated during the talks.
The delegation will leave for the US on July 8. /APA/
