CHP parliamentarian: Defending Azerbaijanâ€™s rights will be the main target of CHP

â€œWe wish Armenia not to listen to the Diaspora organizations abroad and live in harmony with its neighbors. We are anxious that Armenia has occupied Azerbaijani lands leading one million people refugees and internally displaced, raise alleged genocide claims,â€ parliament from Turkeyâ€™s Republican People’s Party (CHP), the partyâ€™s candidate from Erdehan Ensar Ogut told the APAâ€™s Turkey bureau. He said if they come to power they will make the Nagorno Karabakh issue the first item of the foreign policy.
â€œThe Nagorno Karabakh conflict has to be solved so that the relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan can be normalized. If Armenia gets along with Azerbaijan, it can establish normal relations with Turkey as well. Erdahan borders on Georgia and Armenia. We have normal relations with Georgia, but Armeniaâ€™s aggressive policy and groundless claims against Turkey impede establishing normal relations with this country,â€ he said.
Ensar Ogut said that Armenia should be exerted pressure to establish peace in the Caucasus.
â€œThere are forces that support Armenia, we will bring Armenia to peaceful negotiations. Defending Azerbaijanâ€™s rights will be the main target of CHP,â€ he said. /APA/
