Azeri MP: PACE summer session successful enough

â€œThe summer session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) was successful enough. Azerbaijani delegation took an active part in the work of the session. The activeness was put forth both in plenary and in the meeting of the committee,â€ the member of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE Gultan Hajiyeva briefed on the results of PACE summer session to APA European bureau. Azerbaijani parliamentarians growing into professional European parliamentarians demonstrated an extremely high activeness in the discussions of Europe-wide problems, she added.
â€œParticularly, the attention was focused on Nagorno Karabagh problem in speeches. One of the main points of session was realizing of the initiative. An informal conference of GUAM state delegations and representatives was held in Azerbaijani permanent delegation to OSCE. CE Secretary General also attended the conference. This event was a continuation of that held in Baku recently. We will give a special importance to the cooperation with GUAM state from this day on. We will continue our activities on the other directions as well./APA/
