Final declaration of VI World Forum of Intercultural Dialogue was published as document of the 78th session of UN General Assembly

The final declaration of the VI World Forum of Intercultural Dialogue on the “Dialogue for Peace and Global Security: Cooperation and Interaction”, which was held in Baku from May 1 to 3, was published as a document of the 48th session of the UN General Assembly, Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the United Nations told APA.

Note that the "Baku Process" initiative which was put forward by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in 2008 was highly appreaciated as an important global initiative on intercultural dialogue in the speeches of the UN Secretary General and in the official documents of this organization.

Recall that at the Forum, organized by the government of Azerbaijan, in partnership with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), the World Tourism Organization (WTO) and the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), distinguished guests representing more than 100 countries participated.

The Forum featured 4 plenary sessions and 12 panel discussions on topics such as education, youth, climate change, artificial intelligence, protection of cultural heritage, illegal migration and other areas. A number of panels of the forum were also held in Shusha and Aghdam.
