US Stocks fall, European Stocks get rise

Baku - APA-Economics. In early afternoon trading, the Dow Jones industrial average was down 49.84, or 0.44 per cent, at 11,357, Sydney Morning Herald reported.
The index lost 37.24 on Monday following six days of gains.
The broader Standard & Poor’s 500 index was 6.75 points lower, by 0.55 per cent, at 1,216.5, while the technology-focused Nasdaq composite index was down 10.52 points, by 0.41 per cent, at 2,569.53.
London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index of leading shares won 25.23 points, or 0.43 per cent, to close at 5,875.19 points, Frankfurt’s DAX 30 rose 37.31 points, or 0.55 per cent, to 6,787.81, and the Paris CAC 40 climbed 32.01, or 0.82 per cent, to 3,945.71 points.
