US, European Stocks rise

Baku - APA-Economics. The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended up 6 points at 10255, after seeing swing of 140 points during the day. The NASDAQ ended up 22 points at 2303, after witnessing swing of 33 points during the day. The S&P 500 ended up 4.5 points at 1103, after seeing swing of 13 points during the day, Moneycontrol.com reported.

European stock markets closed higher on Thursday, with London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index of leading shares up 59.86 points, or 1.16 per cent, at 5,211.18 points. Germany’s DAX put on 73.43 points, or 1.23 per cent, to 6,054.63. France’s CAC 40 gained 55.84 points, or 1.59 per cent, to 3,557.34 points.
