Baku – APA-Economics. New York’s main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in June, ended 1.53 dollars to 70.08 dollars per barrel, after hitting 69.27 dollars - the lowest level since October 5, 2009, Channel News Asia reported.

London’s Brent North Sea crude for July dived 2.83 dollars to 75.10 dollars a barrel amid bearish sentiment despite an EU-IMF rescue package worth almost a trillion dollars designed to prevent the Greek debt crisis from spreading.
