"We hold the same position in Middle East as we do in Garabagh and Libya," President of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan said as he adressed the "Great Palestine Meeting" rally held in Istanbul, APA's Türkiye correspondent reports.
Accusing the West of creating a new Muslim-Christian conflict, he stressed that the West is the culprit for people dying in Gaza:
"Those shedding crocodile tears for civilians killed in the Ukraine-Russia war are silently watching the deaths of thousands of innocent children in Gaza. We have shed tears for many geographies, from Crimea to Garabagh, from Bosnia to Kirkuk, from Palestine to Turkestan."
Erdogan also added that his statement regarding HAMAS not being a terrorist organization was expected.
