A unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) has crashed into an empty area in the Salur neighborhood of Manyas district in Türkiye’s Balıkesir province, APA’s Türkiye bureau reports.
The UAV, which was found by farmers working in the area, was handed over to security forces.
According to the information, citizens who saw the UAV fall reported the situation to the relevant authorities.
Personnel who arrived at the scene took security measures in the area and conducted an examination of the UAV. The unmanned aerial vehicle, whose Russian origin has not yet been confirmed, was sent to Ankara for a detailed technical inspection.
It is reported that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
