Two border guards have been killed as a result of a traffic accident in Iran’s Sistan-Baluchestan region, announced the Public Relations Department of the Sistan and Baluchestan Border Guard, APA reports, citing Iranian media.
According to the information, due to unfavorable weather conditions in the region, fog, and reduced visibility, a vehicle belonging to the border guard collided with another vehicle.
In the accident that occurred near the border with Pakistan, two border guards holding the rank of staff sergeant lost their lives.
