The spokesman for the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), Ömer Çelik, said that Türkiye will take planned action if the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) do not fulfill the terms of the 8-point agreement signed on March 10, 2025, APA's Türkiye bureau reports.
Çelik stressed that the Turkish Armed Forces are fully prepared for possible operations:
"We are always ready to ensure Türkiye's national security. If our Supreme Commander gives an order, our army is ready to operate immediately. However, our main wish is that this will not be necessary," he said.
