The Türkiye-Germany bilateral trade volume will be increased to 60 billion US dollars, said Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan at a joint press conference following his meeting with German Foreign Minister Johann David Wadephul in Ankara, APA’s Türkiye bureau reports.
Hakan Fidan emphasized the importance of cooperation in the fields of energy and mining, noting that the Turkish community in Germany is one of the strongest bonds between the two countries.
Speaking about Türkiye-EU relations, Hakan Fidan said that issues of the customs union and visa liberalization were discussed and highlighted the importance of facilitating measures in Schengen visa applications.
