Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, or a representative of his choice, was invited by US President Donald Trump to join the Gaza Board of Peace, Netanyahu’s office confirms to the Times of Israel, APA reports.
Many other world leaders have been invited to join the board, which is meant to act as a supervisory body.
Note that as part of the ceasefire agreement, a technocratic government has been established in Gaza to carry out governance in the post-HAMAS period.
Several world leaders, including Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Russian President Vladimir Putin, have been invited to participate in the “Peace Council” to be organized to oversee this government.
