Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani will travel to Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, on Wednesday to participate in talks to resolve the conflict in the Gaza Strip, APA reports.
Majid bin Mohammed Al Ansari, adviser to the prime minister and official spokesman for the Qatari Foreign Ministry, announced that the consultations have reached a "decisive stage."
"His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani will travel to Sharm el-Sheikh tomorrow morning, Wednesday, to join the ongoing negotiations between the parties concerned on the Gaza Strip, amid intensified regional and international efforts aimed at achieving a permanent ceasefire," he wrote in X. The diplomat emphasized that the Qatari Prime Minister will join the negotiating process "at a crucial stage of consultations, reaffirming the mediators' desire to reach an agreement that will end the catastrophic war in the Gaza Strip."
