Negotiations between Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa and the leader of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Mazloum Abdi have collapsed, an anonymous source told AFP, APA reports.
"The negotiations that took place in Damascus yesterday between General Mazloum and Mr. Sharaa have completely collapsed. The international community must urgently demonstrate a firm position," the source said.
He blamed the Syrian government for the failure of the negotiations.
It should be noted that the law signed by Ahmed al-Sharaa envisages the integration of the SDF into the Syrian army, but the group continues to clash with the Syrian army.
