Murat Nurtleu has been dismissed from the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, APA reports.
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has signed a decree regarding this.
Tokayev has appointed Yermek Kosherbayev, who served as ambassador to Russia from 2020 to 2023, as the new Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The former foreign minister, Murat Nurtleu, has been appointed as an aide to the President of Kazakhstan.
Note that some time ago, news circulated about Murat Nurtleu being detained. However, it was later stated that the information about his arrest was not accurate.
