Russia is selling military equipment and technology to China that could be used in preparing an air assault on Taiwan, APA reports, citing The Washington Post and research by the UK-based Royal United Services Institute (RUSI).
According to RUSI’s analysis of documents, Moscow plans to supply Beijing with hardware and contracts detailed in roughly 800 pages of documents obtained by the hacker group “Black Moon.”
The Russian documents reportedly indicate that Moscow has agreed to sell China about $210 million worth of airborne equipment, training, and amphibious transport vehicles.
