Since August, the Israeli army has destroyed approximately 1,250 buildings in Gaza City, the largest residential area in the Palestinian enclave, as part of an ongoing operation, APA reports, citing The Jerusalem Post.

According to the newspaper, around 200 militants have been neutralized during the operations.

About one-third of the destroyed buildings were classified by the Israeli army as fully military facilities, while half were categorized as facilities secondarily used by militants.
