Lebanon has urged Europe not to limit talks with Iran to its nuclear and ballistic missile programs, and to also include Tehran’s regional proxies in the discussions, APA reports, citing Iranian media.
This was stated by Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Rajji during a meeting of the European Union’s Political and Security Committee.
The minister said that, in addition to the ballistic missile program and the nuclear issue, European leaders should include the topic of “Iran’s arms in the region” (its proxies) on the dialogue agenda.
Note that earlier, Youssef Rajji claimed that Iran is a source of instability in the Middle East.
