The killing of a Georgian citizen by Russian soldiers near the village of Kirbali in the Gori municipality of Georgia shows how complicated security is in that area, Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili said in a statement, APA's Tbilisi correspondent reports.
According to him, all relevant mechanisms related to the incident have been activated, Georgia's international partners have been informed about the fact.
It was added that active work is being done to secure the release of another detained Georgian citizen.
