The Indian Embassy in Tehran has called on Indian citizens to leave Iran, APA reports, citing an official statement by the embassy.
The embassy instructed citizens not to take part in protests in Iran and recommended that they depart the country by any available means, including commercial flights.
Note that internet access has been disrupted across Iran for several days. According to the U.S.-based Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), at least 2,571 people have been killed during protest-related unrest, and thousands have been detained.
