The cooperation of the Syrian Democratic Forces with Israel is delaying the integration process into the Syrian army, said Türkiye's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan at a joint press conference with his Syrian counterpart Asaad al-Shibani, APA reports.
Fidan emphasized that the SDF should be integrated into the Syrian army, but stated that, unfortunately, the group does not appear to have such an intention.
Note that according to the agreement reached on March 10 of this year between the Syrian government and the SDF, the armed group was supposed to be integrated into the Syrian army by the end of 2025.
