Sisi said that an agreement has been reached to establish a ceasefire and end the war in Gaza after two years of suffering and woes, in accordance with the peace plan proposed by President Trump.
"The world is witnessing a historic moment that embodies the triumph of the will for peace over the logic of war," he noted.
Note that the ceasefire was reached last night between Hamas and Israel.
The agreement includes the withdrawal of Israeli troops, the delivery of humanitarian aid to the enclave, and the exchange of Israeli hostages for Palestinian prisoners.
