Araghchi: Iran is ready for nuclear talks

Tehran is ready to return to the negotiating table on its nuclear program, but only if Washington does not pressure or dictate it. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told Al Jazeera, APA reports.

"We are ready to sit down at the negotiating table on the nuclear issue, provided that this takes place without threats or diktat," he emphasized.

At the same time, the minister warned of Tehran's readiness for any development. "If Washington chooses the military option, which they have already tried before, we are ready for that," Araghchi said. He added that the Islamic Republic is now even more prepared for a military confrontation than it was during the escalation in June 2025. "We are prepared for all options and hope that Washington will make a wise choice," the diplomat concluded.
