American warplanes carried out their second airstrike in the past few hours on ISIS positions in northern Syria, APA reports citing Al Hadath television.
According to him, the US Air Force "conducted a new wave of attacks on ISIS hideouts and headquarters" located in northern Syria. It is noted that the main strikes targeted ISIS positions in Deir ez-Zor province.
Furthermore, according to Al Hadath, American aircraft carried out airstrikes on terrorist bases in rural areas of the Homs and Raqqa provinces, as well as near the city of Tadmor, on the outskirts of which is the Palmyra historical and architectural complex. It was in this area that two US National Guard soldiers and an American interpreter were killed on December 13.
