“The Middle Corridor is already becoming one of the main international trade routes, said Presidential Advisor of Kazakhstan, Magzum Mirzagaliyev, at the 6th Caspian Business Forum in New York, held under the theme “Along the Middle Corridor: Connectivity, Finance, and Energy," APA’s correspondent reports from New York.

“Kazakhstan is ready to take concrete steps toward a long-term and sustainable partnership with the United States. The development of logistics and transport networks in the Eurasian region is of strategic importance, and we intend to make full use of all opportunities in this field. In this regard, we seek close cooperation with U.S. companies and the implementation of joint projects,” Magzum Mirzagaliyev noted.

The Kazakh President’s advisor stressed that the Middle Corridor is already becoming one of the main international trade routes: “The ‘Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity’ opens new opportunities for this cooperation. By 2029, we plan to build 5,000 km of new railway lines, modernize existing infrastructure, and implement smart logistics solutions. We highly appreciate the support of our partners for these initiatives. Yesterday, we reached a preliminary agreement on accords that will be signed with the United States by the end of the year, marking a new stage in our cooperation. The development of the Middle Corridor not only expands our logistic capacities but also strengthens our energy security and creates opportunities for new export markets for our country.”
