The Ankara Chief Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation against individuals sharing content with firearms on social media, APA reports, citing Turkish media.
Within the scope of the investigation, the police identified individuals who posted videos of themselves firing weapons and challenging each other online.
As a result of operations carried out in the early morning hours at specific addresses with the support of special forces, 23 suspects with prior criminal records were detained.
During the operation, 8 unregistered pistols were also seized.
