The UN Security Council is to meet in an emergency session here on Sunday morning to discuss the satellite launch by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), which violates relevant Security Council resolutions, diplomatic sources told Xinhua on Saturday night, APA reports quoitng Xinhua.
Note that North Korea launched a long-range rocket on Sunday carrying what it has called a satellite, but its neighbors and Washington denounced the launch as a missile test, conducted in defiance of U.N. sanctions and just weeks after a nuclear bomb test.
