US President Donald Trump has warned Iran about the protests on his "Truth Social" account, APA reports.
"If Iran violently fires on peaceful protesters and kills them, which is their custom, the United States will come to the aid of the protesters. We are fully prepared to go there," Trump noted.
It should be noted that in the past few days, anti-government protests have been held in various cities of Iran due to the worsening economic situation.
There have been deaths and injuries in clashes between protesters and security forces.
