Ukraine National Security Council orders state bodies to hold elections

Ukraine National Security and Defense Council according to the presidential decree ordered state borders to hold early elections. The 12 members of the Security Council voted in favor of the decree. The representative of the Cabinet of Ministers and General Prosecutor voted against, APA reports. The Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovich left an emergency session of the National Security Council unfinished.
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Vitali Gayduk said the Cabinet must allocate funds on the early election campaign from government budget. The acting head of security service Valentin Nalivaychenko said they will do their utmost to ensure the security and legality of the democratic election campaign.
The pro-government forces are still holding their meeting in the Independence square. People from regions are attending the rallies. The head of the Public Relations Department of Interior Ministry Viktor Stogniy said the organizers of the meeting said 225 thousand people will take part in the rallies. /APA/
