Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation with Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, APA reports citing Presidential Administration of Türkiye.
It was noted that during the telephone conversation, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the growing tension in the region, and the steps to be taken for a solution were discussed.
Erdogan stressed that ending the conflict soon is important for the sake of peace in the region and the world, that Turkey is making intensive efforts to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza, and that steps that increase tension should be avoided.
