Azerbaijani language and literature banned to be taught in Iranian higher schools

Baku. Ramil Mammadli-APA. Azerbaijani language and literature were banned to be taught in higher schools in Azerbaijani cities of Iran, World Azerbaijanis Congress Press Service told APA.
Tabriz State University banned study of Azerbaijani language and literature some months ago. Iranian Education Ministry was against of establishment of this department in Mohaghegh Ardabili University. Study of Azerbaijani language and literature is planned to be taught within the framework of project on expansion of 5-year education departments, but this decision is not executed in any education enterprises of South Azerbaijan. Iranian Education Ministry was against establishment of departments on political sciences, tourism management, informatics, journalism, international relations, cybernetics, economy and social sciences.
