Japanese government resigns

Tokyo – APA. Japanese government headed by Yasuo Fukuda handed in resignation. APA reports that the government’s resignation is formal. On September 22 the ruling Liberal Democratic Party nominated the party’s Secretary General Taro Aso to the post of Prime Minister. Taro Aso will officially take office today, he has not announced the composition of the new Cabinet yet. Japanese media writes that some ministers are known. They write that former Prime Minister Nakasone’s son Fumihiro Nakasone will be Foreign Minister.
