Hillary Clinton’s campaign headquarters in San Francisco was like an ant’s nest in Super Tuesday primaries. There were a lot of volunteers in the campaign headquarters, which is located in the three-storey building close to the center of the city. Each volunteer was given a mobile phone and the list of voters of Democratic Party. They gathered around big tables in the center of the office and phoned the voters. The volunteers were offered food and soft drinks. It was possible to watch the results of the primaries on CNN. Despite the working day, the majority of the voters got permission to work in the office. They were phoning the voters. Some Americans joined the campaign along with their families. The youngest of the volunteers was seven years old. Little Arthur phoned the voters and ran to his mother gladly every time when voters said they would vote for Hillary Clinton. The results of primaries in California are made public after 8.00 by local time. As time was coming up, the officer asked the volunteers to speed up.
The results of the primaries first came from Georgia, because of different time zones. According to the final results of the primaries in this state, governor of Illinois Barack Obama won the primaries. He got the votes of 27 delegates in Georgia. But the results did not worry the volunteers in the campaign headquarters at all. One of the specialists on elections told me that the states, where Barack Obama was supposed to win the primaries, had been known beforehand. According to the specialist, no one doubts that Obama will also win in Mississippi and Illinois, because black Americans make up the majority of the voters in these states. The person, young, but experienced enough in elections, enumerated the states where Hillary Clinton would win – California, New York and New Jersey. The young man’s forecasts came true.
I want to note an interesting fact. The volunteers who support Hillary Clinton are more adult, proficient and rich men. Most of them get high salary and have stable political views.
I am sure that first reports of person from election office of Hillary Clinton will be interesting for everybody. I said that I from Azerbaijan and USAN decided to support Hillary Clinton among the democrat candidates.
Interlocutor stated that he know Azerbaijan. He noted that he got information about Azerbaijan form his father who was officer in US army.
“My father trained soldiers of shah in the regions of Iran where Azerbaijanis lived densely in it and he contacted with many Azerbaijanis there,†he said. Mr. Trout stated that he supports Hillary Clinton.
“I participated voluntarily in election campaign of Bill Clinton and remember all promises very well. Presidency of Bill Clinton was not only scandal, but it was good economic indicators and image in the world. I support changes and I want these changes are realized as during presidency of Bill Clinton,†he said. Mr. Trout noted that Barack Obama’s supporters stated that Obama did not take endowment from corporations and he was against Iraq war in Senate. Trout said that these reports are not true.
“Barack Obama was not represented in Senate when the war began in Iraq. Obama was elected to the Illinois State Senate. He was elected to the U.S. Senate 2 years ago. On the other hand, there are facts that he got aids form great companies. For example, Senator supported one of the greatest companies to built nuclear plant in Illinois,†he said.
Another interlocutor was Linda Richardson. She explained her hot sympathy to Hillary with achievements of presidential candidate. She noted that Hillary is a first woman candidate and she approved that she is one of the most successful candidate of representatives.
“If you look through the activities of both of democrat candidates, you will understand that Ms. Clinton has been represented in White House for 8 years when his husband was President of the US. She approved that she is a strong-willed woman and she bore all difficulties and black campaigns,†she said.
Ace Smith, director of Hillary Clinton’s Democratic presidential campaign in California is a prominent person. Mr. Smith headed campaign headquarters of Gavin Newsom, Mayor of San Francisco, Antonio Villaraigosa, Mayor of Los-Angeles, Senators Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer. He agreed that American Azerbaijanis support Hillary Clinton.
