US Armenians demand that presidential candidates recognize so-called Armenian genocide on the level of Congress and White House

US Armenians wanted presidential candidates specify several issues during the elections to be held in the USA in November, 2008.Armenian National Committee of America sent a letter to presidential candidates and letter covers that Azerbaijan and Turkey should not blockade Armenia, Congress and White House should recognize so-called Armenian genocide, Ambassador who will be sent to Armenia should announce so-called Armenian genocide officially. Armenians demand that defining of self-determination of Nagorno Karabakh people should be recognized, participation of separatists as an independent side in the talks should be supported. Armenian National Committee announced that they have got many votes in the primary elections that will be held in the several strategic states. Armenians said that there are 600000 Armenians in California, 120000 in Massachusetts, 100000 in New-York, 75000 in New-Jersey./APA/
