4 more congressmen refuse to support resolution on so-called Armenian genocide

Mike Ross (Arkansas), John Murtha (Pennsylvania), Jane Harman (California) and Doug Lamborn (Colorado) declared that they will not support resolution on the so-called Armenian genocide to be brought to a vote in the Congress. Representatives of Armenian lobby confessed that they do not know how many congressmen will vote for the bill. 226 congressmen stated that they will support this bill before it is brought to a vote in the Subcommittee of House of Representatives. Some of the congressmen refused to support this bill after US Administration, Turkish and Azerbaijani Diaspora organizations lobbying in this direction. Nearly 208 congressmen are supposed to support this bill if it is brought to a vote. At least 218 members of Congress should vote for the bill for its adoption. /APA/
