Top Colombian drug lord captured

A leading Colombian drug lord was captured during a raid aimed at members of the Norte del Valle cocaine cartel, considered the largest in Colombia.
Diego Leon Montoya Sanchez, also known as “Don Diego,†was caught allegedly hiding in a pile of leaves.
Montoya is the head of the Norte del Valle cartel, Colombian authorities claimed.
The drug lord reportedly offered the soldiers who captured him $5 million to let him go.
The Norte del Valle cartel is alleged to ship more than 300 tons of cocaine every year to the United States, Europe and elsewhere./APA/
