Commemorative event on the 15th anniversary of national hero Chingiz Mustafayev’s martyrdom was held Houston, State of Texas, APA’s US bureau reports. The event was initiated by Azerbaijan American Council vice-president of the council Yusif Babanli and member of the organization Togrul Mammadbayov gave information about Chingiz Mustafayev’s life and role in military journalism. Yusif Babanli said that national hero Chingiz Mustafayev filmed the most dramatic and bloody moments of Azerbaijan’s independence and had great role in informing the entire world of Khojaly genocide, occupation of Lachin and other important events. The speakers spoke about the role of ANS Group of Companies’ history and its slogan “Fighting is prescribed for you†in preserving fighting spirit in Azerbaijan.
Following this, the film about the refugees “Then came tomorrow†and the film “Lost generation†about the section 907 to Freedom Support Act against Azerbaijan was demonstrated at the event.
At the end of the event members of Azerbaijani and other communities and representatives of international community exchanged views. /APA/
