Georgia to appoint commercial attaches in its embassies

Baku. Malahat Najafova – APA. Georgia will appoint commercial attaches in its embassies abroad, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Mikheil Janelidze said at the meeting with representatives of business associations.

According to him, the attaches will inform the local businessmen in countries where they work about economic situation and business opportunities in Georgia.

The minister noted that the economic diplomacy is one of main priorities of Georgian foreign ministry and the country is interested in involvement of foreign investments: “Economic diplomacy will support development of small and medium business, access of Georgian products to new markets and application of modern technology in the country”.
